UI/UX

UI != UX

While User Experience(UX) is a conglomeration of tasks focused on optimization of a product for effective and enjoyable use; User Interface(UI) Design is its compliment, the look and feel, the presentation and interactivity of a product.

Example I

Before :

After :

- Notice that buttons should make sense to the user and as well they have to provide a short name for the main function they are trying to accomplish. Therefore the names of many buttons were changed.

- Also the organization of the application should be one of the main focus when re-desinging, in this application I organized the button by applications and separated the update window for a better understanding.

- The types of indicators and indicators-buttons were re arranged to a more compact space, also they were re-arranged to better show the user the correct sequence in preparing or using the equipment.

- Also changes to some standard buttons to indicator-buttons to save space and code time, instead of having a button and an indicator for one function alone, I made one indicator-button. These buttons also help to know the status of the most critical functions state.

Example II

Before:

After:

- In the new design I focus more on the request by the costumer, whom requested for the text fields to be bigger in order for the naming of their functions be visible.
- I re-organized the pop up window to decrease the size of it and to follow a better sequence on the UI, this should be faster for the user to handle, since the buttons are organized in the critical sequence.
- The buttons were increased in size in order to have a more fluent mouse or touch sequence when using the buttons and functions.

Example III

Just an organized and colorful application I made for my dad, he requested an app to randomly select  five numbers and a mega in order for him to fill the lotto tickets faster.
